Acquisition
As of May 17th 2005, Geo Minerals has executed an agreement with Doublestar Resources Ltd. to acquire 100% interest in the Scotia group of claims. Terms of the agreement are for Geo Minerals to incur a total of CAD$310,000 as well as 300,000 common shares.
Property Overview
The Scotia property is located approximately 42 kilometers southeast of Prince Rupert within the Skeena Mining District, and consists of 7 cell claims totalling 4,988 hectares. The property lies within a belt of Paleozoic metavolcanic and metasedimentary rocks trending approximately north-south between the Skeena River to the north and the Ecstall River to the south. North and south of the Ecstall River, several occurrences and VMS-type zinc deposits are known to be hosted within the metavolcanic unit. Infrastructure in the area is good, with all of the main valleys accessible via logging roads.
Drill Core Re-sampling Program
A drill core re-sampling program was conducted in q2 of 2008, allowing for the completion of a new resource calculation as well as the preparation of a Technical Report that is NI 43-101 compliant. Below are both assay results comparing the 2008 and 1997 drill programs, respectively.

Selected intervals of the drill core from six of the 1997 holes were re-sampled during the field season of 2005. The objective of the re-sampling program was to verify the 1997 data so that a NI 43-101 compliant resource calculation could be conducted based on the results of previous drilling. A general agreement between the 1997 and 2008 data was that average variations for zinc, copper and silver for all weighted intercepts were <5%. Variations for lead and gold were moderately higher but still well within acceptable ranges.
NI 43-101 Technical Report & Resource Estimate
A National Instrument NI 43-101 Technical Report has been filed for the Scotia property as of January 11th 2009. Additionally, a resource estimate has been calculated for the Albere Zone based on 42 drill holes totalling 4,343 meters. The results from a 1997 drilling program comprised most of the data used in the modeling, with much of the core re-assayed in 2008 to confirm earlier results. Based on a 1% Zn cut-off, the Measured plus Indicated Resource within the 3-D mineralized shell totals 802,000 tonnes grading 4.9% Zn, 13.9 g/t Ag, and 0.2 g/t Au with an additional 702,000 tonnes grading 4.5% Zn, 13.7 g/t Ag and 0.2 g/t Au classed as Inferred. No economic parameters have been defined by the current Resource Estimate as to an appropriate cut-off for various types of mining. Looking forward
